Lou Malnati’s will host its 39th annual cancer benefit on Monday, October 19th, 2009.  This year, Lou Malnati’s will partner with The Second City to provide the entertainment for the evening, and the performance will feature Chicago Blackhawks right wing Adam Burish.  The event will be held under a tent at Lou Malnati’s corporate office, 3685 Woodhead Dr., Northbrook, IL. 

Tickets cost $150 each, and only a limited number of tickets will be sold.  Tickets are currently still available.  The doors open at 6:00 pm, and tickets include food, drink and the performance.  The Second City show starts at 8:30 pm.  To purchase tickets, please go to www.events.org/lmcb2009, or visit www.lmcb.org for additional information.  A live and silent auction will also be part of the evening, and will include great items such as premium sports tickets, a package to the Bears game in San Francisco including air and hotel, a puck-shooting opportunity at a Blackhawks game including great seats and a signed jersey, and a Cubs batboy/girl package that includes tickets and an opportunity for the winning child to sit in the Cubs dugout during batting practice.

All proceeds benefit cancer research and treatment programs at Northwestern Memorial hospital, Gilda’s Club of Chicago, and Children’s Memorial Hospital.  Lou Malnati’s cancer research fund has donated more than $3 million to these causes over the last few decades, and is proud to continue their support of these important programs.
